I hiked this look with my dad on June 29th, 2024 as part of a short father-son trip. Regrettably, I forgot to write this narrative until nearly two years later, so my memories on the hike's specifics are foggy at best. Mainly, I remember that I mis-remembered which trail I had chosen when planning, and as such advertised what was really a 9-1/2 mile hike to my dad (and myself) as only 5 miles. We were woefully underprepared to tackle a hike Alltrails rates as hard on one of the hottest day's of summer, and spent probably an hour after finishing cooling off and rehydrating in his car with the A/C blasting.
