I hiked this trail on September 10th, 2021 by myself.

I did this hike on the way to Starkville, Mississippi to watch the NC State-Mississippi State football game. I camped that evening at the Burrell's Ford Campground and, after packing up, dropped my gear off at my car and hiked to the falls. While hiking the trail, I met a trio of women from Charleston planning to hike the entire Foothills Trail despite having never hiked in their lives! After giving them directions on how to finish their hike and a quick breather, I continued on to the falls, where I met a polite young couple and their dog.
