Somerset Place - Pettigrew State Park

I visited this area on Saturday, December 17th, 2022.

The Somerset Place is a historic plantation village located on the northeastern edge of Lake Phelps, in Pettigrew State Park. Formerly one of the largest plantations in the state of North Carolina, it was constructed and operated by Josiah Collins III. Several of the prominent buildings on the property date to the 1830s.
